Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Shelfbot platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Shelfbot provides warehouse optimization tools including data analysis, slotting recommendations, and reporting. You upload warehouse data (CSV files containing order and SKU information), and the Service generates analysis and recommendations based on that data.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You authenticate through Clerk using Google OAuth. You are responsible for:

  1. maintaining the security of your account credentials;
  2. all activity that occurs under your account;
  3. notifying us promptly at support@shelfbot.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Your Data

Ownership. You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. Shelfbot does not claim any ownership rights over your warehouse data, CSV files, or any other content you provide.

License. By uploading data, you grant Shelfbot a limited license to process, analyze, and store your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Confidentiality. We treat your uploaded warehouse data as confidential. We will not share your data with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • upload data you do not have the right to share;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
  • interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

6. Service Availability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Shelfbot does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shelfbot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Shelfbot’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Shelfbot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to Shelfbot’s trademarks, logos, or branding.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@shelfbot.com.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
