Shelfbot Data Dive Specification

1. Introduction
This document outlines the data required by Shelfbot to accurately estimate and configure the ideal solution to meet a customer's specific SKU and order profile. Customers are requested to provide as much data as possible to help us maximise storage density and operational efficiency.
Providing the following data allows Shelfbot to design and quote an optimal system for your site. Shelfbot can provide an Excel or Google Sheets template on request to simplify data export.
2. Purpose & Scope
2.1 Purpose
The purpose of this document is to collect essential customer data that will be used to configure the Shelfbot System effectively.
2.2 Scope
This specification covers the data submission requirements for the following:
- SKU master data with Stock on Hand
- Outbound Order History
Shelfbot uses this data to:
- calculate the number of totes and racking aisles required for your current stock on hand
- analyse SKU velocity and order profiles (lines per order, units per SKU, ABC classification)
- estimate the number of robots and stations required to hit your throughput targets
- model future growth scenarios where requested
3. Data Requirements
3.1 SKU Master
Customers should submit SKU data in CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets format. Please ensure SKUs are unique; dates are in a consistent format; quantities are positive integers; and stock on hand matches your latest cycle count where possible.
Include as many of the following fields as possible:

Note: Measurements are preferred in millimeters (mm) and grams (g). Please use a single unit set consistently across the file.
Image URL is a publicly reachable web address (for example a product page image on your website), not an attached file. When provided, the image is shown alongside the SKU during analysis. Shelfbot does not copy or store the image.
3.2 Outbound Orders / Sales Orders
Customers should submit outbound order data in CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets format, covering ideally 12 months (minimum 30 days) of sales history. If seasonality is significant, please include a period that covers your peak season. If necessary, customer names and addresses may be removed or anonymised; we only require order-line detail.
