Shelfbot returned to CeMAT 2025 with four robots running live on the show floor—and the industry took notice.
While legacy automation providers filled their stands with brochures and sales pitches, we brought working machines. Four Shelfbots operated continuously throughout the show, demonstrating real picks, real bin movements, and real system performance in front of hundreds of operators, engineers, and warehouse managers. Combined, these four robots delivered 240 bin presentations per hour—actual throughput, not projections.
The response confirmed what we’ve believed from day one: the market is ready for an alternative to traditional automation providers who promise the world but deliver complexity, long timelines, and seven-figure price tags.
Visitors didn’t watch videos or look at CAD renders—they saw automation working. They watched bins move, saw pick cycles complete, and understood the system in minutes, not months. The questions shifted from “does it work?” to “when can we get one?”
This is the gap Shelfbot fills. Between manual operations and the mega-projects offered by legacy providers, there’s a massive middle market that’s been ignored. Companies doing 50-500 picks per day, running 1,000-10,000 SKUs, operating in 500-2,000 square meters—they don’t need a consultant-led transformation project. They need automation that works.
The buzz at CeMAT wasn’t just about the technology—it was about the approach. Operators appreciated the simplicity. Engineers valued the transparency. Finance teams understood the commercial model. And executives recognized that Shelfbot represents a genuine path to automation without betting the business on a single massive project.
Multiple attendees used the same phrase: “finally, someone built automation for businesses like ours.”
That’s the market. That’s the gap. And CeMAT 2025 proved we’re not just filling it—we’re owning it.
The order pipeline from CeMAT is strong. Demonstrations are booked across Australia and internationally. The message is clear: businesses want automation that’s practical, proven, and priced for real operations—not just enterprise giants.
Legacy providers had decades to serve this market. They chose complexity and premium pricing instead. Shelfbot chose simplicity and accessibility.
The industry is responding accordingly.
